Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by Russ R — 03 Jan 2013
Interesting and touching movie. Eastwood gives a heart wrenching performance. I didn't think I would like Justin Timberlake, but I did. Amy Adams made Mickey seem like a real person. The reasons for the father-daughter separation was a little week, but the rest of the movie was provocative enough that I overlooked it.
Also, I can't see a team allowing a kid off the street to pitch at their number one draft pick, but again, what heck, it's a movie. Why is there such a disparity between the critics and audience? A little bias since the empty chair bit maybe? (rhetorical).
