Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by Zach S — 02 Aug 2013
Everything about this movie, from the title to every move the plot makes is vaguely sexist. The only reason a beautiful woman is working so hard at a high powered job is because of her daddy issues, "I'm not interested" means "try harder and eventually I'll love you", and her life actually isn't that ridiculously work-centric, as she still has time to work out, eat with her dad and go on dates, but she's meant to be a frigid bitch because she gets a lot of work calls and is working on a big presentation from home.
This movie gets one star for it not being the actors' fault, and one star for the baseball. And if I spoiled anything for you? No I didn't. You've already seen this formulaic piece of shit a hundred times.
