Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by Deidre W — 12 Aug 2013

I love baseball movies. And this is a good one, though it really has little to do with baseball and more to do with life and what we do with it and how we live it. But baseball IS a part of this and I enjoyed almost all the parts [language notwithstanding] of this movie. I love Amy Adams' character. She rang VERY true for me. And Clint Eastwood still has what it takes to deliver a line.

8/13/2013 I just watched the end of this movie again and again was struck by how much I ENJOYED this movie. The feel of it, The emotions of it. The BASEBALLINESS of it. It is interesting to see if from the baseball scout's side of things. Amy Adams really shines here and makes the movie.
