Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by James D — 09 Oct 2013
Clint Eastwood can still act, that's a fact, and he proves it here in "Trouble With The Curve." Though not a hugely powerful performance, he holds his own with Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake who's surprisingly becoming a great actor.
The story is a tad meh, but it is a family drama about baseball and father/daughter issues. I would say that it's rentable, but it isn't one I'd throw in my collection. But, overall, not too shabby as a film.
3/5 JD.
