Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by David D — 07 Feb 2014
With an interesting idea, a fascinating story, a good script full of fine dialogue written by Randy Brown, great performances by Clint Eastwood as Gus Lobel, Amy Adams as Mickey Lobel, Justin Timberlake and special appearances by John Goodman, Matthew Lillard, Robert Patrick and Bob Gunton, perfect directing by Robert Lorenz, brilliant scenes and sequences and an alright pace and flow, Trouble with the Curve is a film on the lines of Moneyball, but is also easy to understand and enjoy about a relationship between a father and a daughter and also about scouting baseball players by watching them play and pitch instead of combining different math statistics and making a team out of it.
