Review of Trouble in Paradise (1932) by William L — 08 Jul 2007
Perhaps the finest example of the light comedy of the 1930's, with a witty, not-so-subtle script, brilliant comic acting by all concerned, and that perfect Lubistch touch. Filled to the brim with double entendres and sexual dialogue; the scene where Kay Francis and Herbert Marshall exchange stolen goods is a gem.
