Review of Trouble Every Day (2001) by Aaron W — 07 Jan 2010
Weird, cool, new take on the whole cannibal thing. It's a bit slow paced, but worth it as the whole piece works very well together to create that nifty dreamlike feel I always enjoy in my films. There are a couple minor qualms I have with certain aspects of it but they're not really worth getting into.
Just personal preference things like a few too many shots of bridges and sunsets and crap like that. It's not that I'm anti-sunsets in films, but at a certain point, I don't need to see the light glinting off the water anymore.
Again, it's a minor annoyance, and doesn't really hurt the overall film too much.
