Review of Tropic Thunder (2008) by Tyler R — 22 Sep 2012
Basically a remake of "Three Amigos", "Tropic Thunder" follows a group of actors who are dropped in a real warzone, only to be told that it is just a movie. The acting from everyone is great considering they are making fun of themselves, and Ton Cruise has a surprisngly dirty and hilarious role of movie mogul Les Grossman.
The film has a lot of action for a comedy, and it is all handled very well. The jokes come fast and they all hit hard, but this film is not for everyone becuase some of the jokes are bound to offend. It is a great film with a perfect cast and it is definitely worth a watch.
