Review of Tropic Thunder (2008) by Ethan S — 27 Dec 2012

To me, this movie is way too overrated. This is definitively not Stiller at his best, the acting and the directing are very weak on his part. The supporting roles of Downey Jr. and Black are ok, but I felt that the main role was almost empty.

I started the movie thinking I was about to watch a genius film that was equally funny as it was action packed, but I finished it disappointed, having wasted an hour and forty seven minutes. The movie was not particularly funny, the jokes were inconsistent and not clever at all, and the plot was just stupid.

This is definitely a movie to ignore, hopefully you can find something else to watch.
