Despite it's satirical nature, some of the cast feels like they're playing the same roles they always do, but Tropic Thunder is still a successful comedy due to its huge handful of humorous moments, very funny cameos, and entertaining performances, especially from Robert Downey, Jr.
and Tom Cruise.
