Review of TRON: Legacy (2010) by Ryan L — 22 Feb 2013
Very disappointing. Yes, it has an amazing soundtrack, and yes it looks great. But that's all. The plot is paper thin, almost non-existent, and the characters are all style no substance. The young Jeff Bridges 'avatar' never convinces, and the old Jeff Bridges bares no relation to his character in the first movie.
Why the hippy routine? And the least said about Michael Sheen camping it up, the better. Excruitaitng. On the plus side, the first 30 minutes or so (the games) is mesmerising and the Daft Punk cameo raised a smile.
