Review of TRON: Legacy (2010) by William G — 10 May 2013

Having missed it during its theatrical run, it took me a while to finally catch up to Tron Legacy. I enjoyed the original film and I was happy to see such a cult film that didn't do well at the box office get a big budget sequel like this.

To be fair, it's probably not the best idea, but it isn't a bad one either. I liked the film quite a bit. I enjoyed the performances and the story, much more than the actual special effects, which are the main star of the film.

It reminded me a bit of Speed Racer in that regard, but it's much better because there's actually characters and story that you're interested in. It was nice to be in this world again. I can understand why people wouldn't like it, but I just couldn't hate it.

I enjoyed it and I would watch it again.
