Review of TRON: Legacy (2010) by Freddie Q — 27 Jun 2013
This movie is incredibly underated in fact I would say that this movie hits upon some very interesting philosophical questions that most people dismiss on a whim. Plus it helps that the whole time your watching the movie the action evolves until eventually its at its zenith in the spaciship/aircraft battle.
Plus the music sets the tone for the whole movie with stunningly amazing good techno/movie soundtrack by daft punk. I can't think of another movie that I would probably buy the whole soundtrack or even still watch the movie just for the soundtrack.
The character and the plot are a little muddled but still remains in the movie to a good extent and don't forget that this movie is incredibly based off of technology so you aren't going to see an emotional drama or anything.
Probably one of the best scenes in the end when after getting out of the grid 2.0 Flynn's son Sam drives off with the sun rising. Pretty good symbolism I would say especially after not seeing the sun for most of the movie or him talking about it earlier in the movie.
