Review of TRON: Legacy (2010) by Danny O — 20 Aug 2014

Tron's visual dazzle can't quite hide the average storytelling. The effects are phenomenal, and extremely mesmerizing. The battles are awesome, and I could watch them all the time. Unfortunetly, the human characters aren't that compelling, and the storytelling is not in top form.

The actors are all good in their roles, it's just the characters that don't really get any depth, and what little they do isn't that interesting. The story is simple enough, not too convoluted, but certainly not impressive.

The movie is not that bad, it's actually quite entertaining. It just looses itself among the visual spectacle, which is really all this film is. Tron Legacy gets 3/5 stars (B-).
