Review of Tron (1982) by Joshua Y — 29 Apr 2011
Campy and fun, TRON was the precursor to later VR films, some good (The Matrix), some not so good (Lawnmower Man). It's benchmark (at the time) special effects look charmingly old-school by today's standards.
Along with Jeff Bridges' performance, they cement TRON as a classic nostalgia piece, despite its narrative shortcomings.
