Review of Tron (1982) by Brendan N — 30 Dec 2012

I watched this after watching the new one which is probably not the best thing to do. I had seen this many years prior but I thought it was time to give it another go. Sadly the film which was groundbreaking for its time is now quite dated.

The film has a certain level of quality that does reside in some eighties products. The problem is the film has no real story much like tron legacy.

The film may have achieved cult status but it sadly is dated. I liked certain parts more then others, the film deserves some rerelease like Star Wars.

I enjoyed the film though and some of the ideas more then the film could deliver.
