Tron was undoubtedly revolutionary when it debuted in 1982, both in terms of the visuals employed and the technologically progressive subject matter. It deserves credit for anticipating the rise of gaming technology, but it also deserves to be called out for a plot that only occasionally makes sense and a completely unemotional delivery by everyone involved.
