Review of Trolls (2016) by Late R — 30 Sep 2017
It's colourful, loud and brash, and it banks on that being enough to dazzle you, but that doesn't make up for the generic and predictable plot, ripped off songs and characters that mostly lack depth.
It does have a few moments where it shines which, ironically, are the quieter scenes, as well as giving us the crazily catchy tune 'Can't Stop The Feeling'. All in all though, it's a rather average film that wastes its stars with powerful singing voices on a bland screenplay that will only appeal to viewers on the younger side.
