Review of Troll 2 (1990) by Shaun B — 27 Dec 2012
This is widely known in the cult area of films to be one of the worst movies ever made in the history of cinema. And I am here to confirm this as a possible fact. While I do not personally find it to be the worst ever, it certainly is Bottom 50 (possibly even 20!) material.
It gets an extra half star b/c I grew up during the late 80s/early 90s transition phase and can remember how bad a lot of films became thanks to the VHS tape allowing anyone to hold a camera and bring it straight to video for cheap b/c no one would actually bother to watch this in a theater without demanding their money back.
Only reason to watch this is to witness what "total shit" is like on the big screen. Or for the nostalgia of it all (the turds that you had to dig though in actual brick and mortar rental stores in hopes of finding that occasional diamond in the rough).
Damn you kids got it made today...
