I notice, while this certainly is a dreadful movie, that there is an innocence to its dreadfulness. I found myself appreciating that these incompetent filmmakers were not likely to give us a man pitchforking pregnant women, as in THE CRAZIES, or a gratuitous rape, as in THE HILLS HAVE EYES.
The incompetence of TROLL 2 reminds one of Michael Scott of THE OFFICE: a harmless enough idiot who just wants you to like him.
