Somehow (and I really don't know this is physically possible) a slight improvement on the original, in that it doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with its predecessor.
One of my favorite films ever produced. Unbelievably bad, but it captures that bad movie lightning in a bottle. In the same vein as the Ed Wood movies, it is that rare bad movie that is completely genuine. So many horrible movies are made to be horrible movies and are therefore a parody. This is 100% real. It is not supposed to be funny, bizarre or bad in any way, and that's where it truly succeeds.
Some pretty amazing and beyond horrible stuff. Some of my favorite moments include: The table pissing scene, the priest on fire scene, the popcorn sex scene, the 'Oh no their eating her! And then their going to eat me! OOOMMMMGGG!' scene, among many many others.
The only way this isn't the worst movie ever made is that the original 'Troll' is far worse. What saves this from that same fate is that this has far more value as far as entertaining schlop is concerned. You can laugh at 'Troll 2', where as 'Troll' will just put you into a self medicated coma. Indeed a top seed contender in the 'Worst Film Ever Made By Anyone Ever' genre, and I just love it in every way.
