Review of Troll (1986) by Scott J — 09 May 2008
So, I saw this the other day for the first time in ages. I thought it was your run of the mill fantasy flick. Had talking muppets, lots of makeup, and lots poorly done special effects, all in all I thought it wasn't half bad.
But it paints J.K. Rowling in a whole new light for me... one of theft and disappointment. The story driving "Troll" is one of a teenage boy named Harry Potter who learns the ways of the wizard from an old witch and uses his new powers to fight off the mystical evils brought forth by the evil Troll King who plans to take over the world.
I will never pick up a "Harry Potter" book again without wanting to burn it.
