Review of Triumph of the Will (1935) by Jillian W — 13 Nov 2007
This film really captures a very distinct time in Germany and does a very good job of showing what it was like. The way Riefenstahl works the camera is amazing and she really gets some great angles and shots.
The symbolism and the way Hitler is presented is really interesting and amazing to contemplate, especially now, after the fact.
