Review of Triumph of the Will (1935) by Margot M — 13 Sep 2008
All of the evil aside the directing in the movies is just... plain...STUNNING!!! The cinematography is groundbreaking and memorizing. However, there is far too much time spent on the marches at the end of the festival.
On the other hand, shots of the speeches and the opening marches are incredible. A must-see for anyone who wants to know how Hitler came to own the hearts and minds of Germany despite the evil he was enacting.
