Review of Triumph of the Will (1935) by Kenneth B — 21 Sep 2008
This is more notable for 'academic' reasons than anything else. Riefenstahl's document is well crafted and is perhaps one of the great examples of how film can be used to manipulate reality or 'fact'.
Despite this the content isn't really that compelling. To the casual 21st century audience this will probably drag.
