This is one of those films that leave you frustrated and yelling at the screen because of the stupid stupid stupid decisions that were obviously only injected into the story as plot devices. It is established early on that these comrades are supposed to be the best of the best but then at a crucial point, make the most rookiest of mistakes that insults the intelligence of the viewer.

Overall, an extremely depressing movie, which seems to only exist in order to pass not so subtle moral commentary which is banal in nature and a rehash of observations that was better communicated in other films in a much better way.
