Review of Triple 9 (2016) by Silvia B — 28 Feb 2016
Simple movie with a lot of violence. All of the lead actors were great but Affleck and Chiwatel stood out for me. When the Clifton fella came on the screen, however, all I could think of was 187, which is the movie that started his career - wish they would cast new and intriguing people for these roles, there can't just be one hispanic playing all the roles for these type of movies it gets boring.
The Russian element made me think of the Ray Donovan series, and I especially liked Kate Winslet, she looked amazing. I'm still scratching my head as to why the scene of the fat lady on top of the trash can was necessary.
