Review of Triple 9 (2016) by James W — 18 Apr 2017

This is a very good movie the first time round. However after you know the plot it may not be worth a 2nd watch. This film has a very good cast. It is full of good actors who all do a good job in their roles.

The stylisation of the movie is executed very well. The film puts you right in the middle of the streets, it makes you feel every ounce of the grime and dirt and makes the viewer fully immeresed in it.

There are a few surprises here and there, the film never loses it's interest. It is very contemporary and of it's time, the baddies and situations feel real, contemporary and believeable for the here and now.

The only thing that gives this movie 1 less star is because it has a low re-watchability rating. Apart from that...excellent.
