Poor Karen Black, she never wanted to be associated with horror films but this superior TVM directed by Dan Curtis (DARK SHADOWS, THE NIGHT STALKER) helped establish her reputation as a screem queen, particularly the sequence in which she is stalked throughout her apartment by an animated African Zuni fetish doll.
