Review of Trick 'r Treat (2007) by Sean S — 02 Jul 2012
What a great cast for such a no-name movie. Singer returns to horror after his cameo in The Ring and Paquin, his X-Men co-star, does the same after her horror splash in Darkness -- and more recently Scream 4.
It was sick, twisted, intelligent and had the Pulp Fiction style in its plot. Wonderful Halloween movie/horror flick. The best part was the child-like scarecrow appearing at every corner wicked and cruel would visit, just to finish off the movie at the end with an unveiling, followed by ultimate irony.
That's as far as I will go with revealing the plot, but this Halloween, instead of going to the theater for another money-grubbing Paranormal adventure, check out Trick'r Treat, the ultimate trick and treat.
