Review of Trick 'r Treat (2007) by Ad V — 01 Sep 2012
I think this is gonna be one of those films that I will come to love and appreciate more over the years because while it wasn't terrible it wasn't the knock-your-socks-off experience I was expecting either. Fellow Flixster Beefy said it best, "oh Hype Monster, thou has thwarted me again.".
Solid casting (especially master thespian Brian Cox), amazing cinematography and lush set design are the highlights here. Oh and let's not forget the creepy yet loveable Sam.
