Review of Trick 'r Treat (2007) by J. Scott F — 09 Oct 2015
I'm not sure if I can really recommend this or not. I enjoyed it, my wife enjoyed it - but there isn't very much substance. It is a "Halloween special" that will never play on network TV.
It is full of Halloween cliches, a few laughs, some great cinematography, some visual scares, and several twist and turns. It you are in the mood for a "Halloween horror film" to watch with friends - this is an excellent choice.
If you are seeking something deeper - probably not.
