Review of Triage (2009) by Diane C — 05 Dec 2014
I thought this a beautifully understated movie, rather the bookend to The Hurt Locker. The relationships are honest and open, the scars of war brutal and far reaching. The characters are complicated, their lives intertwined, the backstory and history between all of them hinted at subtly bit by bit, until by the end the viewer understands the reasons Walsh is crippled.
Sad and yet hopeful all at once.
