Unbelievable psychological thriller/drama set in a rich man house, somewhere in Hollywood. Rich couple Kyle and Sarah with daughter Avery are held for ransom in their own home by a gang looking for a big amount of cash and diamonds. Dramatic connexions between the family and the robbers and between the robbers themselves are uncovered in a movie that reminds too much an Arthur Millerâ(TM)s play.

I am going to keep it simple: I have better ideas of what to do with the 35 million dollars budget of this movie. I guess most of it has been spent in the fees of the two main actors, Nicholas Cage and Nicole Kidman, and, in their behalf, they do try to faithfully portray this slightly dysfunctional couple. But the script is completely flawed, the dialogues are unconvincing and they donâ(TM)t ring true, plus the action seems to repeat itself over and over again: the family try to escape and they are caught by the burglars; this happens so many times that you do not longer care.

With a better script and dialogues this would have been even interesting, instead is just forgettable film.
