Review of Trespass (2011) by Dann M — 27 Jan 2012
Director Joel Schumacher comes through with another smart and intriguing drama in Trespass. When a home invasion goes wrong both the hostages and robbers find themselves in a web of lies and deceit that pits all sides against each other and no one to trust.
Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman give weak, but adequate, performances, and the story take a while to get moving. Yet, once the pacing picks up both the story and the mystery become quite engrossing. Trespass is an entertaining film with a gripping mystery, but it has some problems with the execution.
