Review of Trespass (2011) by Mloy X — 24 Aug 2012
This was actually not so bad. The multiple plot twists were cool; I thought I had the movie figured out within the first ten minutes and it did seem like my theory was correct until the very last seconds of the film and that was interesting.
Nicole Kidman (Sarah Miller) and Liana Liberato (Avery Miller) were awesome. Nicolas Cage could have tried a little better, his performance felt like it was a court-ordered project and was forced to appear in this film or risk being incarerated.
The band of thugs were lame and stereotypical with the exception of Cam Gigandet (who plays Jonah, Sarah Miller's love-sick repair man/security guard). But overall, it was kind of tolerable with a lot riding on suspending disbelief and the plot twists.
