Review of Trespass (2011) by Vince D — 05 Oct 2012
Something happened, and what did happen went catastrophically wrong.
Trespass' biggest flaw is the script and that the violence was so rough it felt like I was actually watching an actual burglary rather than a movie. Some may see that as a good thing, I see it as a negative I was, as Joel intended, on the edge of my proverbial seat and watched it until the end because I wanted to know what happened.
The script was unforgivable. The twenty minutes at the start were fine but after they get 'Trespassed' every other word is a cuss word, and you think I'm joking? I wouldn't mention it, if I was lying.
This film does accomplish, however, a connection with the viewer, when the finale happened, I was actually cheering because of what happened, happened.
Rather mixed reaction. Only recommend to the hardest of sadists.
