Review of Trespass (2011) by Deb S — 22 Oct 2011
A predictable Hollywood released flick with your typical wealthy business man Kyle Miller (Nicholas Cage) married to a stunning woman Sarah Miller played by Nicole Kidman (although he is much too busy to spend time with her) with an equally gorgeous but defiant teenage daughter who feels mom and dad are too overprotective all living in a beautiful mansion minus the house pet.
But then the entire family is taken hostage by a group of cold-blooded criminals led by Elias (Ben Mendelsohn). The thugs only want one thing: The diamonds that is stowed away in a secret safe in Kyle's spacious office.
Tensions rise when Kyle refuses to open the safe, threatening his own life, along with the lives of his wife and daughter. The bad guys were your somewhat typical bad guys but I like the hunky Cam Gigandet as the tattooed handsome worker that Sarah finds herself distracted by so he made it watchable for me.
