Review of Trespass (1992) by Sterling W — 04 Jan 2011
An urban update of "The Treasure of La Sierra Madre", Trespass actually works very well. Walter Hill is a master when doing action sequences, and the performances all around are solid, if unremarkable.
However, the film's main strength lies with Ry Cooder's score. It is appropriately bleak and moody, and it fits well with decaying settings.
