Review of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) by John E — 26 Apr 2006
Who DOESN'T love Burt Gummer?! The graboids take another turn... Beware, this is goofy in the sense that it's no longer about the horrific deaths like in the original Tremors--this is more funny and light, easy to watch. The major flaw of this Tremors installment is how dry the tentacles look compared to the slimey, saliva-coated feel of the previous two movies. The worms intelligence is second to the campy action, but the end scene with Melvin (all grown up!) is PRICELESS! All of the characters are individuals, and the loss of one of the original cast is felt deeply.
May the legacy continue--LONG LIVE TREMORS!
