Review of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) by Rj M — 11 Jun 2008
Michael Gross returns to not only the third movie, but the same town that the first film was set in. Now both government agents, and land developers are moving into the tiny town of Perfection, but with vastly different motives.
Gross and company are caught in the middle, while dealing with the "Graboids", "Shriekers", and their newest evolution, "The Ass Blasters". That's right, now the creatures shoot fire from their buts, and they FLY! So now our heroes have to worry about below ground, above ground, and in the sky.
What to do? The only slight disappointment in the Tremors series, the film seems to suffer from a slightly more forced sense of humor, and a couple of less than interesting characters, particularly Susan Chuang as the granddaughter of the late shop owner.
Still, it's still a faced paced, fun movie, and a step up from other direct to video creature movies you're likely to see.
