Review of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001) by Jesse B — 10 Jul 2009
Despite the odds on it being awful with a lack of even Fred Ward this time, nevermind Kevin Bacon, Tremors 3 defies all to be another very enetertaining outing for the graboids, shreikoids and now, the ass-blasters.
Bringing the whole saga full circle and introducing the final stage of the creatures evolution is a great way to keep interest going in the series and setting it back in Perfection captures some of the spirit of the first movie.
Michael Gross is highly amusing again as Bert Gummer, the gun toting survivor o the first two movies and he's bcaked by what one can only assume are an able cast of US soap actors.
The effects are cheap and cheerful as to be expected and though the plot is essentially just a rehash of the seconf movie, this is a more than adquate slice of brain off, beer in hand monster mash fun.
