"DESERT TOWN ATTACKED BY GIANT WORMS".

- 'Tremors' is a 1990 western monster movie by Ron Underwood (Mighty Joe Young, the Adventures of Pluto Nash). A simple but perfect storyline, about a small desert town that's attacked by giant worms. I really enjoyed it, especially the humor and 'old school' effects. This B-film was the start of a 'Tremors'-franchise and a television series, that never equaled the success of the original film. Starring Kevin Bacon (Footloose, Friday the 13th), Fred Ward (Road Trip, The Naked Gun 33 1/3) , Michael Gross (Family Ties), Victor Wong (The 3 Ninja's films) and a very young Ariana Richards (Jurassic Park, Battledogs).' Is the earth trembling? Then watch out for Tremors!'.

Valentine McKee (Bacon) and Earl Basset (Ward) work as handymen in the little town of Perfection. One day they decide to start over in the big city, but as they are leaving town they stumble upon fellow resident Edgar, who sits dead in an electrical tower. After warning the town's doctor, the two men head on and find another person dead. Driving back to the store of local businessman Walter Chang (Wong), Val and Earl see a snakelike creature wrapped around their truck's back axle. Feeling the thread of these monsters, they gather the people of Perfection, including survivalist Burt Gummer (Gross) and his wife Heather, artist Nancy and her daughter Mindy (Richards), farmer Miguel, mechanic Nestor, little brat Melvin and visiting student Rhonda. Can they escape the terror of the mutating worms?
