Perhaps the best of the horror/comedy/parody genre. a nearly perfect blend of comedy and scares, mixed with simply lovable characters, and some impressive creature effects, give this film the longevity it deserves.
none of the sequels, or tv series, live up to the standard set here. don't underestimate this contemporary classic.
