Review of Tremors (1990) by Frédéric H — 30 Aug 2011
One of my favourite monster-movies; the great thing about Tremors is its subtleties. It's fairly short, has a well rounded cast, and is proud of the b-movie status and all of these things make it a movie that is perfect even after all these years! Kevin Bacon shines as the cocky 'handyman' about town as he and his best friend try to find a way to outsmart the creatures that have them on the menu.
The script is funny and light-hearted whilst all hell breaks loose and I never get tired of hearing Kevin Bacon shouting "I got a Goddamn plan!" Monster mayhem at its best!
