Before the series became ridiculously stupid, "Tremors" was a fun tribute to B-movies of the 50's. There's nothing all that great about it, but it is a movie with a lot of fun to be had, excitement to be felt, and a good time all around.
Nothing genre changing, but it's nothing that I wouldn't recommend if you need to turn off your brain either.
