Review of Treeless Mountain (2009) by Bonnie C — 25 Mar 2010
What a brilliant, yet depressing movie. its more of a partial story, rather than a full one, and most average movie goers may find the pace a little slow, but it is truly a masterpiece that shouldn't be missed.
its dialogue and storytelling is very real to what people would do in these young girls' situation, and the sort of adventure and endeavors they follow just to see their mother again. it symbolizes the hopelessness of reality, when you believe that something magical, that would realistically never work, would work - which is basically a learning stage for almost every child.
