Best Disney movie. I thought the Lion King was my favorite but then I saw this. From the story book narrative, to the solar surfing, to the relationship between Jim and Silver and even Captain Amelia, the doctor and Mr.

Arrow and finally to the final scene with Jim seeing Silver in the clouds its a good movie. Yes B.E.N. was the weak link but he's the weak link in the book as well so thats not on this movie. Some of B.

E.N.'s lines are grating but he's a sympthatic character like the others from the main cast as well. This had more characterzation than the book and classic disney did. It makes me think this movie and not Lilo and Stitch gave us more real characters in it first.

If you haven't seen it and have some nostalgia for Disney movies on par with Atlantis, Tarzan or Lilo and Stitch but also want space pirates and treasure watch this movie.
