Review of Treasure Planet (2002) by Zach N — 17 Jul 2010
I do not understand why people don't like this movie. Yes it's a remake but it's probably the last real one since the original, and not to mention Treasure Island has had MULTIPLE remakes and this one really takes it to a next level in changing it.
The animation is stunning, the story is still great and very charming. It's an amazing family movie and it gets a well deserved 4 stars from me. Seriously I'm ashamed of the general audience that apparently didn't like this movie.
The animation was like nothing I've seen before even 8 years from it's release, and the story was told so well it felt new again. Seriously I don't understand people's non-liking of this movie.
Please watch this movie, it's really good.
