Review of Treasure Planet (2002) by Matthew G — 23 Sep 2014
One of Disney's underrated movies, this film is just plain fun. Jim, played by a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is a character of surpassing depth. Silver is a fun character, and while he could be characterized as the villain, it is his relationship with Jim that makes the movie work.
There is genuine good character interaction, and along with good animation, this movie a great one.
